At a very late stage in the SmartCow project, we have availability of up to 220 cow-weeks of capacity for a dairy cow feeding study at SRUC’s Dairy Research Centre, Dumfries, Scotland, UK.
The Transnational Access (TNA) programme call makes available cattle research facilities of SmartCow partners for research by academic or industry colleagues from other countries. In the Procedural Manual you will find more details about how TNA operates and priorities.
The transnational requirement means that proposals from teams that are mostly based in the UK are not eligible.
If you are interested and have a project idea that could commence within two months, please email richard.dewhurst@sruc.ac.uk by 18th October 2021 to check feasibility.
